Cross Country: Review for 2010/11

Cross-country

The undisputed highlight of the Cross-country season was our first victory in the Bracken Cup since 1991, after many years of coming second to Dulwich Prep! It was a wonderful team performance, as the efforts of the runners further down the field made all the difference to the final results. Harry Rees, David Wilkinson, Patrick Ankjaer and George Ankjaer represented the Sevenoaks and Tonbridge District in the Kent Schools Cross-country Championships; Harry and David, who finished third and fifth, were subsequently selected to run for Kent.

In other competitions, we finished in the top three at every age group in the IAPS district championships, our Year Three runners won the Rawlinson Run at Dulwich Prep, with an individual win for Will Tyler, and Yardley Court won both age groups in the West Kent Cross-Country League.
