Deputy Head Academic, Nathan Close

Born in the North-East of England, NC read Theology at Durham University before completing his Primary PGCE. He joined Ryde School as a Y4 Form Teacher and Head of Religious Studies in 1996, and having finally located his passport, moved back to the mainland in 2000 to take up a similar post at Yardley Court. Nathan was appointed as Head of the Junior School in 2005, before making the move to Farringtons School as Deputy Head in 2008. Nathan returned to Yardley Court as Deputy Head (Academic) in September 2010. 
Nathan enjoys cake during form periods and (fortunately) going to the gym!
