Life Long Ago
30th September 2016

"Paleontologist" and "ammonite" may well make it on to the Year One spellings list this week after their enthusiastic participation in a "Life Long Ago" workshop. All of our Year One pupils excavated a wide range of fossils, big and small, learning a lot about their characteristics and the diet, lifespan, origins and habitat of the dinosaurs that roamed the earth millions of years ago. Everyone was very excited to meet baby T-Rex Jack and 7 year old Millie. Some boys and girls were brave enough to give them a kiss or a nose rub. They loved meeting everyone, although Jack was a little bit naughty and tried to eat Mrs Carley. See if you can find Mrs Oliveri and Mr Welch trying to save her in our photo album at https://flickr.com/photos/99004371@N03/sets/72157673342563900

Thank You Gary, Jack and Millie!
