Regional XC 2016
9th October 2016

Somerhill Regional XC 2016
We were blessed with a dry, bright afternoon for the Somerhill Regional Cross Country event, bringing together over 600 children from Prep schools in Kent and Sussex.
Yardley Court U9s followed up their Thomas Trophy success by finishing second to a strong Dulwich team. They scored 95 points to 89. Congratulations to Tristan who won the event and Harry D, finishing 8th. The YC U11s had their first seven runners finishing in the top 22, which is outstanding. Fraser was our first boy over the line in 7th with Harry L close behind. The U11s were convincing winners with 77 points. Dulwich were second with 211!
The U13s produced the performance of the afternoon winning their age category scoring just 53 points. Fin was a strong event winner and Ollie was third. A mention too for Ethan in 7th.
Derwent Lodge U9s finished in 2nd place, with Niamh 2nd across the line, followed closely by Harriet in 5th. All of our U9 girls finished in the top 45 of 112 runners; an excellent effort. Derwent Lodge U11s were convincingly victorious with Sophie in 2nd place, Lily in 3rd, Eva 13th and Ottilie 14th.
Well done all. Another great afternoon of cross country running.‚Äč
