Forensic Science

Year Two discovered the fascinating world of Forensic Science in a workshop held in the Long Library. They heard about the observation and analytical skills that detectives use to solve crimes and then set to work on their own crime scenes. They taped off the crime scene and gathered clues to find out who had stolen money from a safe. They were careful to avoid contamination of the scene and used DNA profiling to narrow down the suspects from a possible field of eight. As you’ll see from the photographs in the album below, they worked really hard to identify and interpret lots of detailed information. A super experience.
