Junior Spring Concert
10th February 2018

“Every time I lay an egg I think of yoooooo…”.

Sweet words from the middle of ”Rooster Rag”, the finale to a very entertaining and energetic concert from our Year Two, Three and Four Somerhill pupils.

At just six, seven, eight and nine years old (Happy Birthday George!) the children performed with real confidence. Their cello, violin, guitar, flute and percussion playing showed focus and flair, winding its way through a Scary Fairground Ride, an Indian Dance and celebrating the many merits of Prince Ali and Truly Scrumptious! Listening to the individual choirs and groups, then the massed choir of over 200 voices, clear and joyous, singing in harmony, was a real treat.

Thank you to parents, grandparents and friends for coming along to the concert, and to the children and their music teachers for their hard work and commitment in rehearsals and in today’s excellent performance.
