DL at Dobson Trophy run
18th November 2013

It was wet, it was windy, it was muddy - all adding up to lovely cross-country conditions for the Dobson Trophy at Claremont School on Friday 15th November. The U9 girls had a fantastic race and would definitely have won the U9 girls shield.... had there been one! 4 of the team came in the top 10; Louisa Yorke 4th, Sara-Luisa Riolo  6th, Kitty Muysken  7th,  Mimi Vorster 8th,  and Millie Scott sprinted the last 300m to come in 14th.  Likewise, the U11 team were excellent too. Anna Williams-Walker won the bronze medal for 3rd place, with Maisy Smith 7th, Charlotte Saunders 10th, Lucy Hudson 19th and Emma Hall 36th.  These results would have given us 1st or 2nd place for the U11 girls too....but again, no shield, so we had to content ourselves with the pride of a super run from all the girls. Very well done!
