Cross Country Success
13th March 2014

Despite our teams being ravaged by injury and illness the U11 and U13 boys performed extremely well at the Lancing College Cross Country event on 12th March.

The U11 team of Finn Croll (1st), Matthew Taylor (2nd), Oliver Hill (3rd), Archie Yorke (8th), George Thompson (9th), Seb Tute (12th) and Theo Daviron (14th) won their event comfortably on a beautiful sunny afternoon.

This was a tough multi terrain course which provided a few headaches when it came to the choice of footwear ... do you slip in the mud with trainers or jar your feet with your spikes on the tarmac?

The U13 boys performed equally well, winning their event with our four runners coming 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5th!

Well done to Charlie Crick, Harry Yorke and Ewan Wood. Particular congratulations to Tom Pitts-Tucker who ran as a senior on this occasion and did so brilliantly.
