Parent-toddler classes 2026 - launching new Mini Maestros!
Our Somerhill Parent-toddler classes are back in September 2026, with an engaging, fun programme designed specifically for parents or carers to share with their toddlers, aged 18 months to 3 years. Due to the phenomenal success of our Mini-Saplings Forest School classes, we are expanding our offer with the launch of Mini-Maestros, a new musical class for toddlers and their grown-ups! Booking is on an 8-week basis due to limited spaces.

Mini Saplings - Forest School fun & adventure in our Somerhill woodland

Calling all little explorers (and their grown-ups)! Join us for Mini Saplings, a magical Forest School session, especially designed for toddlers and their parents or carers. This session is all about sparking imagination, developing fine motor skills and enjoying quality time outdoors—rain or shine!
Bug hunting, tree exploring, nature-inspired crafts, welly walks, puddle jumping, sensory art fun, and songs and stories around the campfire, all led by our experienced Forest School-trained teachers. Each session is packed with hands-on fun, confidence-building adventures and joyful moments, surrounded by nature.

Join us at Somerhill for our brand-new Mini Maestros Parent-toddler classes. Over eight fun-filled weeks, little ones aged 14 months to 2 years and their grown-ups will enjoy singing, playing instruments, moving to music, and exploring rhythm through engaging, interactive sessions.
Early musical experiences help children develop listening skills and auditory processing -the brain's ability to recognise, interpret, and make sense of sound -which supports communication, language development, and early learning.
Designed to nurture a love of music while supporting early development, Mini Maestros is the perfect way to learn, play, have fun on a Friday and make memories together.
