Somerhill is a wonderful setting in itself, but the wider area is a great place to live too. You will find a welcoming community of Somerhill families in Kent. Most live in Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells, Kings Hill, Sevenoaks and the surrounding villages.

There is much to love about Kent, the Garden of England (as Henry VIII called it), with its historic buildings, country estates, glorious landscapes and beautiful coastline. It’s a great place for families with young children, as there is no shortage of fun and interesting things to do and see, from castles and cathedrals to wildlife parks and heritage railways, and a host of National Trust properties to visit. Top attractions include Port Lympne Reserve in Ashford, which is home to 900 rare and endangered animals; the amazing caves at Chislehurst; and fascinating Hever Castle, the childhood home of Anne Boleyn.

All this is right on our doorstep at Somerhill, which is also ideally located for the Kent seaside towns of Whitstable, Ramsgate, Deal and Broadstairs, and for access to London – we are close to the A21 and Tonbridge Rail Station which connects to the city in 40 minutes.
