Change to uniform – September 2022
Somerhill now embarks on an exciting new phase of its development. Our new uniform is scheduled to roll out in September 2022.
Purchasing New Uniform
We know many parents with children joining Somerhill for the first time, or even those starting a new School year, will prefer their child to try the uniform on before purchasing. Stevensons will hold a number of pop-up uniform shops over the next academic year. We will publish the exact dates in due course.
The full selection of uniform, sportswear and accessories, in all sizes, will be brought to school. Children will be able to try garments on for size and parents will receive advice from Stevensons’ Customer Service Team about the fit of garments and aftercare.
Online or Telephone – Somerhill parents can place uniform orders with Stevensons either online or by telephone.

For parents who do not wish to buy new items immediately, there will be a one-year grace period. The only year group who must start with the new uniform in September are Nursery children, as they are all new to the school. All pupils will be in the new uniform by September 2023.
At the start of the academic year children usually wear summer uniforms for the first half-term. However, this year children may come into school in September wearing summer or winter uniforms (old style or new style).
In the prep school, we ask that everyone purchases a new Games shirt. This is because we need our school to be identifiable as a team at matches.
The school is currently running a second-hand shop to help parents with missing uniform items. Parents can also look through oldschooluniform.co.uk parents can directly sell or advertise their garments for free and determine their own price per garment. This can apply to any garment of school uniform, be it of the old or new design.
