Some of our strongest swimmers and runners in DL Year 6 competed at The National Schools Biathlon Championships at the University of Bath last week. 1500 children from independent and state schools around the country qualified for the 2021 finals organised by Pentathlon GB.

Our U10 girls (Erin T, Florence Y and Erin M) performed brilliantly in their 50m swim and 800m run to place 3rd overall in the team event, consisting of 24 schools in total and 111 competitors. The team were presented with their Team Bronze medals by Tokyo Olympians Jamie Cooke and Jo Muir.

Our U11 girls (Zoe T, Sienna E, Tilly B-W and Amaya S) also performed outstandingly well on the track and in the pool, placing 12th overall in their team event consisting of 25 schools and 107 competitors.
