We are thrilled to announce that all 6 of our runner duck eggs have successfully hatched and have been moved into their larger enclosure. All ducklings are doing well and gaining in character hour by hour. As their welfare is of paramount importance, we will be allowing the children to watch them over the next few days and only when appropriate some closely supervised handling can take place, during which time the children will learn about respecting living things.
